Enable operators to safely access the EXTRADOS area of aircraft in order to carry out wing maintenance and inspection operations. The challenge was to provide a mobile, stable, and ergonomic solution offering access as close as possible to the aircraft while ensuring operator safety and aircraft protection in a workshop environment.

FORTAL designed a Mobile access stepladder specifically dedicated to EXTRADOS maintenance and aircraft wing maintenance. Thanks to its robust extruded aluminum structure, highly resistant to corrosion, this solution ensures excellent durability in aeronautical workshops. Its large overhang allows technicians to work as close as possible to the EXTRADOS areas, while the ergonomic staircase with non-slip steps provides comfortable and safe access. Peripheral guardrails and double safety gates fully secure the working area, while the wheels with immobilization system ensure perfect stability during aircraft maintenance operations.
